Wryly Reilly: Mickelson's Win A Victory For Mickelson
According to Rick, Mickelson's Masters win is a victory for women. While no women competed (and if it were up to Hootie Johnson they probably wouldn't be allowed to watch) somehow Phil won for them.
I get it Rick, Tiger's the womanizer, Phil's wife and mother have breast cancer, I get it. Does it really take a couple thousand words dripping with moral indignation to convey this revelation? Poetry's truism is that, if something seems especially poetic, it'll probably make a miserable poem.
