Giving LaTroy Hawkins a three run cushion in the bottom of the ninth is like looking disaster in the face and saying, "HEY LATROY GO PITCH". It's like being 3 shots up in match play golf: LaTroy needs to feel the other team on his tailfeathers to even be awake in the ninth inning.
Having watched him do this for an entire pennant chase for the Cubs (and mercilessly taunting HBC en route) nobody really thinks the Hawk is going to step into a dominant closer role do they? LaTroy : Blowing Leads :: Pacman Jones : DUN GONNA GET FUCKED UP 2NITE!.
